This is a celebration of life and love not fear. This festival does not honor death, but it does honor and respect our departed loved ones. This is not a sad time, but a day of happiness, a time to reflect upon the meaning and purpose of our lives, our heritage and our ancestors.
The ritual will be followed by a potluck supper. Please wear white or white robes during the ritual. Bring a dish to share and an offering for your ancestors or loved ones, something that they enjoyed in life. Pictures of your loved ones for the ancester altar are also welcome.

When: Saturday May 2, 2009
Time: 7pm to 11pm. Ritual will start at 8pm, entry after that time will be refused.
Where: Kelmscott Hall,
River Road adjacent to Rushton Park
What to wear: White for the ritual, robes if you have them.
Then for after, normal street clothes, whatever is
comfortable, but please nothing ghoulish.
Bring: Food for the Pot Luck Supper after the ritual. Photos, and/or momentoes for loved ones (please remember to take these home with you when you leave). And a little cash for our psychic, the raffle and more.
To do: If you can, around this time, try and visit a loved ones grave, bring flowers, their favourite food or drink. Then sit a while and have a chat.
Extras: Drums, rattles, tapping sticks - if you have them.
Friends are more than welcome,
the more the merrier.

Please note:
This is a BYO event, but we would appreciate it if you please refrain from drinking until after the ritual. BB
