WICCA:An Introductory Course with Priestess Arabella of the Circle of Heka
Based over ten weeks, this introduction course includes ten lessons on the basic training of the Wiccan and Witch. As part of this training the Seeker is invited to attend our festivals and have some hands on training in the areas of spell work, healing and psychic development.
The lessons in this course are based on traditional Witchcraft, the aim for these lessons is to be informative and reliable, yet light and friendly at the same time. I have confidence that by the end of this course, the Seeker should have a fair idea whether they feel Wicca is the path for them.
Lessons will include:
• Wicca as a Religion: Origin, history, beliefs & tenets.
• The Elements, Elemental Beings and correspondences.
• The Rainbow Spectrum, chakras & cleansing the chakras.
• The Wheel myth, the Eight Sabbats & the Seasons.
• The Goddess & the Moon * The Horned God
• The Witch’s Tools * Consecrations
• Cauldron scrying * Crystals
• Cleansing, Ritual & Psychic Development.
• Meditations, Prayer, Blessings & Divination.
• Creating your Altar & Sacred Space.
• Spells, candle magic & fith-fath’s,
• Creating & using a smudgestick.
• The degree system & training with the Church of Wicca.
Each lesson will be roughly two hours in length with practical work at the end of each lesson. Payment of ten dollars per lesson is on the basis of attendance only.
